The flame sensors feature class-leading rapid recovery from thermal and electrical shocks (typically < 1-second downtime). In addition, the sensors offer excellent signal-to-noise at the signature 8Hz to 10Hz flicker range of a flame and achieve accurate discrimination of flame sources in triple IR flame detection systems.

Broadcom / Avago Thin Film Pyroelectric Dual Channel Sensors are infrared (IR) sensors designed for gas detection and other substance concentration measurements. The pyroelectric dual channel sensors feature exceptionally high responsivity, low microphonics, and class-leading thermal and electrical stability. The high-performance dual current mode sensor delivers a signal-to-noise of ~10,000 and presents a fast, stable response over a wide operating frequency range.
