Ang mga Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MP8639 Synchronous Step-Down Converter ay mga fully integrated, high frequency, rectified, at switch-mode converter. Kayang ma-achieve ng mga converter na ito ang hanggang 6A na continuous output current at 7.5A na peak output current sa malawak na 4.5V hanggang 16V na input voltage range. Naglalaan ang mga MP8639 step-down converter ng mga full protection feature na gaya ng Over-Current Protection (OCP), Over-Voltage Protection (OVP), Under-Voltage Protection (UVP), at thermal shutdown. Ang mga converter na ito ay may mabababang on-resistance (R_DS(ON)) power MOSFET kaya gumagana ang device nang may mataas na efficiency sa buong I_OUTload range.
