PEM SMTSO™ ReelFast® Steel Nuts and Spacers/Standoffs mount on PC boards in the same manner and at the same time as other surface-mount components, reducing product handling as well as the risk of board damage. The SMTSO modules simply become another board component. This process also results in faster assembly. They are available in a thread size as small as M1 / #0 to #80 and a minimum sheet thickness of 0.5mm / .020". PEM SMTSO ReelFast Steel Nuts and Spacers/Standoffs are RoHS compliant and are available in threaded or unthreaded versions.
