The SMTSO modules simply become another board component. This process also results in faster assembly. They are available in a thread size as small as M1 / #0 to #80 and a minimum sheet thickness of 0.5mm / .020". PEM SMTSO ReelFast Steel Nuts and Spacers/Standoffs are RoHS compliant and are available in threaded or unthreaded versions.
