This is achieved with high accuracy and includes an advanced motion profile generator.

MOSFET & IGBT Gate Drivers

STMicroelectronics MOSFET and IGBT Gate Drivers are discrete devices for industrial, consumer, computer, and automotive applications. The portfolio offers a range of single- to half-bridge and multiple-channel drivers. The drivers are rated for low- or high-voltage (up to 1500V) applications. ST also offers galvanically-isolated gate driver ICs for safety and functional requirements. System-in-Package (SiP) solutions integrate high- and low-side gate drivers and MOSFET-based power stages. This makes them ideal for the industrial market with higher levels of integration and lower development costs.

STGAP2D 4A Half-Bridge Dual Channel Gate Drivers

STMicroelectronics STGAP2D 4A Half-Bridge Dual Channel Gate Drivers isolates the gate driving channels from the low voltage control and interface circuitry. The gate driver is characterized by 4A capability and rail-to-rail outputs, making the device suitable for high power inverter applications, including motor drivers in industrial applications. The STMicroelectronics STGAP2D 4A Half-Bridge Dual Channel Gate Drivers integrates protection functions like a dedicated SD, and BRAKE pins, UVLO, and thermal shutdown to design high-reliability systems are available. The interlocking function prevents outputs from being high at the same time. The input to output propagation delay results are contained within 80ns, providing high PWM control accuracy. A standby mode is available in order to reduce idle power consumption.
