This device can be used without a snubber RC circuit when the limits defined are respected. The STMicroelectronics T810T-8G comes in a D²PAK package that is UL 94-V0 flammability resin-compliant. This package is environmentally friendly ECOPACK2 graded (RoHS-compliant and Halogen-free).
