Processors

Texas Instruments Processors provide a comprehensive portfolio, proven software, and worldwide support, enabling industry-leading automotive and industrial solutions. TI is dedicated to advancing and optimizing today’s processors to meet tomorrow’s intelligence, performance, and cost requirements in automotive and industrial applications. Scalable hardware and software platforms with common code allow designers to seamlessly reuse and migrate across devices to protect future investment.

Delfino C2000 Microcontrollers (MCUs)

Texas Instruments Delfino C2000 Microcontrollers (MCUs) are real-time control MCUs that bring leading floating-point performance and analog integration to control applications. The Delfino series of MCUs simplifies development and delivers world-class processing for demanding real-time applications. The Texas Instruments Delfino C2000 series features a dual-core microcontroller running at 200MHz on each CPU and also has single-core options running up to 300MHz.

TMS320F2837xD Delfino Dual-Core MCUs

Texas Instruments TMS320F2837xD Delfino Dual-Core Microcontrollers are a 32-bit floating-point microcontroller unit (MCU) designed for advanced closed-loop control applications. These can include industrial drives and servo motor control; solar inverters and converters; digital power; transportation; and power line communications. The F2837xD supports a new dual-core C28x architecture that significantly boosts system performance while integrated analog and control peripherals. This allows designers to consolidate control architectures and eliminate multiprocessor use in high-end systems. This family features two CLA real-time control co-processors. The CLA is an independent 32-bit floating-point processor that runs at the same speed as the main CPU. The CLA responds to peripheral triggers and executes code concurrently with the main C28x CPU. This parallel processing capability can effectively double the computational performance of a real-time control system.
