Buck Converter: TPS54292

The Texas Instruments TPS54292 fully synchronous buck converter with integrated MOSFET is capable of supporting applications with a minimal number of external components. The TI TPS54292 operates from a 4.5V to 18V input supply voltage and supports output voltages as low as 0.8V and as high as 90% of the input voltage. Both high-side and low-side MOSFETs are integrated into the TPS54292 buck converter to provide fully synchronous conversion with higher efficiency. Channel1 can provide up to 1.5A of continuous current while Channel2 supports up to 2.5A. The TI TPS54292 buck converter is designed for use in set top boxes, digital TVs, and consumer electronics.

TPS71750 LDO Linear Regulator

The Texas Instruments TPS71750 150 mA LDO linear regulator offers very high PSRR while maintaining very low 45µA ground current in an ultra-small, five-pin SC70 package. The TI TPS71750 LDO linear regulator uses an advanced BiCMOS process and a PMOSFET pass device to achieve fast start-up, very low noise, excellent transient response, and excellent PSRR performance. The TI TPS71750 LDO linear regulator is stable with a 1.0µF ceramic output capacitor and uses a precision voltage reference and feedback loop to achieve a worst-case accuracy of 3% over all load, line, process, and temperature variations. This TI device is ideal for mobile phone handsets, Wireless LAN / Bluetooth®, and PDAs / Smartphones.
