Analog Devices Inc. AD7383/AD7384 16-/14-Bit SAR ADCs
Analog Devices Inc. AD7383/AD7384 16-/14-Bit SAR ADCs are pin-compatible devices capable of dual simultaneous sampling, high speed, low power, and successive approximation register (SAR). The 16-bit AD7383 and the 14-bit AD7384 have an operating power supply from 3.0V to 3.6V and offer throughput rates up to 4MSPS. The analog input type is pseudo differential and is sampled and converted on the falling edge of CS.The ADI AD7383/AD7384 ADCs feature Integrated on-chip oversampling blocks that improve dynamic range and reduce noise at lower bandwidths. A buffered internal 2.5V reference is included on the device; alternatively, an external reference up to 3.3V can be used. The conversion process and data acquisition implement standard control inputs that enable simple interfacing to microprocessors or digital signal processors (DSPs). The AD7383/AD7384 ADCs are compatible with 1.8V, 2.5V, and 3.3V interfaces, using a separate logic supply.
The AD7383 and the AD7384 are housed in a 16-lead lead frame chip scale package (LFCSP) with a specified operation of -40°C to +125°C. Multifunction pin names may be referenced by the relevant function only.
