Analog Devices Inc. ADIS1657x Precision MEMS IMU Modules
Analog Devices ADIS1657x Precision Microelectromechanical System (MEMS) Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) Modules include a triaxial gyroscope and triaxial accelerometer. The inertial sensor in these modules integrates signal conditioning to optimize dynamic performance. The ADIS1657x modules feature SPI-compatible data communications, 2000g mechanical shock survivability, and triaxial delta angle and delta velocity outputs. These modules are available in an aluminum package (24.30mm × 22.40mm × 13.70mm) with a 14-lead connector interface. The ADIS1657x modules are used in navigation, stabilization, instrumentation, smart agriculture, and autonomous industrial robotics applications.Features
- Triaxial digital angular rate (gyroscope) sensing:
- ±450°/sec and ±2000°/sec range options
- 2°/hr in-run bias stability (±450°/sec range)
- 0.2°/√hr angular random walk (±450°/sec range)
- ±0.05° axis to axis misalignment error
- Triaxial digital accelerometer sensing:
- ±8g (ADIS16575), ±14g (ADIS16576), and ±40g (ADIS16577)
- 2.9μg in-run bias stability (±8g range)
- Triaxial delta angle and delta velocity outputs
- SPI-compatible data communications
- 3V to 3.6V single-supply operation (VDD)
- 2000g mechanical shock survivability
- -40°C to 105°C operating temperature range
- Programmable operation and control:
- Automatic and manual bias correction controls
- Data ready indicator for synchronous data acquisition
- External synchronization of data sampling/processing
- On-demand self-test of inertial sensors
- On-demand self-test of flash memory
- Continuous real-time health monitoring of SRAM and sensors
- FIFO, 512 samples, and up to 4kHz sample rate
