TVCast IR Receiver Modules

Vishay TVCast IR Receiver Modules come in a TVCast package and are miniaturized receivers modules for infrared remote control systems. Two PIN diodes and a preamplifier are assembled on a lead frame, the epoxy package contains an IR filter. The demodulated output signal can be directly connected to digital circuitry for decoding.

These miniature IR receivers are offered in a through-hole package to save PCB space. Vishay TSOP39x and TSOP59x Native Top-View IR Receivers simplify designs with a photodetector, preamplifier circuit, and IR filter in a single 4-pin epoxy package.
