Mini TOPLED® LEDs

ams OSRAM Mini TOPLED® LEDs have been tailored to the demands of public and private passenger transport for high brightness and high quality. These LEDs combine pleasant white light with a much longer lifetime of up to 50,000 hours. OSRAM Mini TOPLED® LEDs are among the most economical on the market, consuming only 0.1W. From an operating current of 20mA, the Mini Topled achieves a typical luminous intensity of 1700mcd at a color temperature of 4000K, and 1900mcd at 6500K. Luminous intensity in candela corresponds to luminous flux in lumen emitted by a light source in a particular solid angle.

TSL2521-EVM Evaluation Kit

ams OSRAM TSL2521-EVM Evaluation Kit is a complete demonstration platform for the TSL2521 Ambient Light Sensor with Flicker Detection. The TSL2521 is designed to fit in the gap between the display screen and the chassis of a smartphone. Sensing flicker in artificial light sources such as LEDs at frequencies up to 7kHz, the TSL2521 provides an image correction input to the phone’s camera. This feature enables the camera to eliminate banding and other flicker-generated artifacts that can distort captured images and videos. The accuracy and high sensitivity of this device, measuring ambient light levels down to just 1mlux, support responsive display brightness management and help improve camera image quality. The compact 2.0mm x 1.0mm x 0.5mm size of the TSL2521 makes it ideal for wearable and smartphone applications.
