CG2 Gas Discharge Tubes (GDTs)

Littelfuse CG2 Gas Discharge Tubes (GDTs) provide a high degree of surge protection in a small size, making them ideal for board-level circuit protection. These GDTs function as switches to dissipate a minimum amount of energy and handle currents that surpass other types of transient voltage protection. The CG2 series features a 145V to 1000V DC sparkover range, which is ideal for protecting equipment with higher voltage limits and holdover voltages. The gas-filled, rugged ceramic metal construction is highly reliable and well-suited for adverse environments. Littelfuse CG2 GDTs are available in various forms, including surface mount, core, straight, and shaped leads.
