PLED Open LED Protectors

These LED protection devices are compatible with 1W, 2W, and 3W LEDs that have a nominal 3V forward characteristic. The protectors are available in a variety of package types, including QFN and DO-214 surface-mount packages, SOT-89, and the small form factor Powermite® package. This Littelfuse PLED provides a switching electronic shunt path when a single LED in an LED string fails as an open circuit. This switching electronic shunt path ensures the entire LED string continues to function even if a single LED in the string does not.
