The Texas Instruments DP83826 includes hardware bootstraps for fast link-up time, fast link-drop detection modes, and dedicated reference CLKOUT to clock synchronize other system modules. The two configurable Ethernet modes are BASIC standard Ethernet and ENHANCED Ethernet. BASIC standard Ethernet mode uses a common Ethernet pinout.
