The Advanced Dynamic Mixed Decay (ADMD) optimizes the current switching, and the Advanced Microstepping enhances the driving precision with minimum CPU resource. Toshiba stepper motor drivers cover 1.8V to 50V and 0.8A to 5A operation and are offered in a variety of package options.

TB6674FAG Stepping Motor Driver IC

Toshiba TB6674FAG Stepping Motor Driver IC is a single-chip two-phase bipolar IC with Metal Oxide Semiconductor (MOS) output transistors. This motor driver IC can drive a two-phase stepping motor in both forward and reverse directions by bipolar driving. The TB6674FAG driver IC incorporates a power-saving circuit and a standby circuit. This component also features a built-in punch-through current restriction circuit for system reliability and noise suppression. The stepping motor driver IC offers high driving ability, 250kΩ pull-down resistance for the input terminal, and ≤20µA current consumption.
