NCS21xR & NCV21xR Current Shunt Monitors

onsemi NCS21xR and NCV21xR Current Shunt Monitors are voltage output, current sense amplifiers that can measure voltage across shunts at common-mode voltages from -0.3V to +26V, independent of supply voltage. These devices feature a zero-drift architecture with a low offset, enabling current sensing across the shunt with a maximum voltage drop as low as 10mV full-scale. These devices can operate from a single +2.2V to +26V power supply, drawing a maximum of 150µA of supply current.

Current Sense Amplifiers

onsemi Current Sense Amplifiers monitor current consumption, providing critical information that can assist in the safety and diagnostic functions in a system. These Current Sense Amplifiers minimize BOM space and allow for system flexibility. They are low-cost, highly accurate, power-efficient, and offer minimal impact to battery life. onsemi offers cost-effective standalone Op-Amps and Current Sense Amplifiers that integrate external resistors to offer higher accuracy, smaller solution.

NCS199A Current Sense Amplifiers

onsemi NCS199A1 Current Sense Amplifiers provide bi-directional, zero-drift voltage-output current-shunt monitoring. The devices can measure the voltage across shunts with -0.3 to 26V common-mode voltages, independent of the supply voltage. onsemi NCS199A amplifiers draw a maximum 100mA supply current and operate from a single 2.7V to 26V power supply. NCS199A's zero−drift architecture with its low offset allows current sensing with maximum drops across the shunt as low as 10mV at full-scale. The NCS199A amplifiers are available with fixed gains of 50V/V, 100V/V, or 200V/V. Each version is capable of operating over the extended operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.

Industrial Motor Drives

onsemi Industrial Motor Drives are designed for global sustainability, supplying efficient, renewable technologies and intelligent power. According to the 2020 Motor System Market Analysis (MSMA), published by the US Department of Energy (DOE), industrial pumps and drives annually consume almost 15% of the total US grid. The 2020 MSMA also estimates that 32.3 million metric tons of CO₂ emissions can be saved annually using VFDs. onsemi manufactures a broad range of VFD semiconductor components, including gate drivers, MOSFETs, IGBTs, and EliteSiC.
