Expand 19 Click

Mikroe Expand 19 Click is an add-on board that enhances input/output capabilities for various applications. The Mikroe Expand 19 Click features the Texas Instruments TCAL9538 8-bit I2C I/O expander, with eight configurable pins that can function as inputs or outputs. The board supports polarity inversion, programmable output drive strength, and interrupt functionality for real-time events. It communicates via a 2-wire I2C interface with clock speeds up to 1MHz and includes an interrupt pin for streamlined integration. With its "Click Snap" feature, the sensor area can detach for flexible positioning, making it ideal for systems requiring extra I/O control, like managing sensors, switches, and LEDs.
