5591 LTR-329 Light Sensor Board

Adafruit 5591 LTR-329 Light Sensor Board features a compact, low-cost I2C digital sensor ideal for projects that require reliable light measurement across a broad range, from 0 lux to 65,000 lux. The Adafruit 5591 LTR-329 Light Sensor Board features the LITEON LTR-329ALS-01 sensor and offers 16-bit resolution for the Infrared and Visible+IR spectrums. The sensor lets users determine human-visible light levels by calculating the difference between readings. The sensor's PCB, designed in Adafruit's STEMMA QT form factor, includes a voltage regulator and level-shifting circuitry, making it compatible with 3.3V and 5V systems like Raspberry Pi and Arduino. It also features Qwiic-compatible connectors for easy, solder-free connections. This versatile sensor is perfect for applications such as adjusting display brightness, detecting light intensity for robots, and distinguishing between day and night.
