CML Micro DE9180-2 Demo and Prototyping Kit for the DRM1000 is a portable radio showcasing all the DRM1000 features. These features include reception from 150KHz to 108MHz of AM, FM, and Digital Radio Mondiale (DRM) signals. The CML Micro DE9180-2 kit can be powered by a 5V supply or three primary cell batteries and supports various antenna and test equipment connections. The kit comprehensively tests the DRM1000 receiver's performance, including power consumption, sensitivity, selectivity, and signal handling. It facilitates evaluation of the DRM1000 push-button user interface and allows full control via a connected PC or external µController through an onboard serial data connection. The DRM1000's features can be customized via a persistent store registry accessible through the serial connection.
