High-Speed Data (HSD) Connector System

Amphenol Commercial High-Speed Data (HSD) Connector System is a shielded, USCAR-2-certified interconnect system color coded to meet automotive requirements. A primary and secondary lock design gives the connectors a high 2.5x retention force, protecting them from damage during incorrect release. This connector system is resistant to reflow soldering, compatible with shielded twisted quad cables, and supports pin-in-paste processes. The onboard contact has insertion funnel protection, allowing for self-alignment within the high temperature, UL 94V-0 polymer housing. Available parts include HSD+0 and HSD+2 types (low profile and enhanced) in right-angle or vertical configurations with A, B, C, F, or K coding options. The Amphenol Commercial HSD connector system features the minimum size to satisfy global automotive requirements such as LVDS camera, USB, and IEEE 1394 applications.
