Infineon Technologies REF_IBC_1600W_GAN Evaluation Board is a scalable 48V to 12V regulated intermediate bus converter designed for high-efficiency power conversion applications. Utilizing CoolGaN™ 100V transistors, this board operates within a DC input range of 36V to 60V and delivers a maximum power output of 1600W. The Infineon board features digital voltage mode control, current balancing, and current sharing, ensuring fast line/load transient responses. The compact form factor, with a low profile of 10mm and a maximum top-side component height of 7mm, makes it suitable for space-constrained environments. Additionally, the board supports PMBus communication for configurable output voltage and firmware-based customization, achieving a peak efficiency of 96.7% at 48V input under forced airflow conditions.
