TMP235EVM Evaluation Module

Texas Instruments TMP235EVM Low Power Analog Temperature Sensor Evaluation Module is a plug-and-play system designed to evaluate the TMP235 temperature sensor. The TMP235EVM enables a USB interface with plug-and-play capabilities into any PC USB port. Using a simple GUI, the device determines the temperature that can be measured and streamed within a matter of seconds. The GUI displays real-time streaming of temperature measurements. The TMP235EVM hosts an MSP430F5528 microcontroller which acts as a bridge between the PC USB interface and the analog interface to the TMP235. The sensor section of the PCB may be separated from the main PCB. This separation supports prototyping in a system where the sensor is remotely located from the host controller. The device supports a second sensing channel for comparison purposes, and temperature data can be logged and exported in CSV format.
