Texas Instruments ADS1198ECGFE-PDK Front End Performance Demonstration Kit (PDK) is a reference design for the ADS1198. The ADS1198 is a simultaneous sampling, 16-bit, delta-sigma (ΔΣ) Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) with a built-in Programmable Gain Amplifier (PGA), internal reference, and an onboard oscillator. The ADS1198 incorporates all of the features commonly required in medical Electrocardiograph (ECG) and Electroencephalogram (EEG) applications. The Texas Instruments ADS1198ECGFE-PDK can be used with a variety of patient simulators. The user can take advantage of the flexible input multiplexer, independently connected to the internally-generated signals for test, temperature, and lead-off detection.
