LSM6DSO iNEMO Inertial Modules

STMicroelectronics LSM6DSO iNEMO Inertial Modules is a system-in-package featuring a 3D digital accelerometer and a 3D digital gyroscope. The STMicroelectronics LSM6DSO boosts performance at 0.55mA in high-performance mode and enables always-on low-power features for an optimal motion experience. The LSM6DSO supports main OS requirements, offering real, virtual, and batch sensors with 9kbytes for dynamic data batching. These MEMS sensor modules leverage the robust and mature manufacturing processes already used to produce micromachined accelerometers and gyroscopes. The various sensing elements are manufactured using specialized micromachining processes, while the IC interfaces are developed using CMOS technology. This allows the design of a dedicated circuit to be trimmed to better match the characteristics of the sensing element.

LSM9DS1 iNEMO Inertial Module

STMicroelectronics LSM9DS1 iNEMO Inertial Module is a system-in-package featuring a 3D digital linear acceleration sensor, a 3D digital angular rate sensor, and a 3D digital magnetic sensor. The LSM9DS1 has a linear acceleration full scale of ±2g/±4g/±8g, a magnetic field full scale of ±4/±8/±12/±16 gauss and an angular rate of ±245/±500/±2000dps. The LSM9DS1 includes an I2C serial bus interface supporting standard and fast mode (100kHz and 400kHz) and an SPI serial standard interface. Magnetic, accelerometer and gyroscope sensing can be enabled or set in power-down mode separately for smart power management.
