LM5146-Q1-EVM12V Controller EVM

Texas Instruments LM5146-Q1-EVM12V Controller Evaluation Module (EVM) is designed to showcase the performance of the LM5146-Q1. The LM5146-Q1 is a high-performance, synchronous DC-DC buck controller with a wide input voltage range. The design is packaged in a miniature footprint with a low component count. It operates over a wide input voltage range of 15V to 85V to deliver a fixed 12V output with better than 1% setpoint accuracy and currents up to 8A. By the LM5146-Q1's minimum on-time of 40ns, operation at a very low duty cycle is feasible. The Texas Instruments LM5146-Q1 offers a full suite of protection features to protect the regulator during fault conditions. These include under-voltage lockout to ensure proper operation during voltage-sag conditions, programmable soft-start to reduce inrush current, hiccup-mode overcurrent protection, and thermal shutdown. A precision enable, open-drain PGOOD indicator, and SYNC IN / SYNC OUT features are also provided.
