These boards are affordable and easy-to-use solutions for driving high-power motors. The STEVAL-IPMx boards are used for a wide range of applications like white goods, air conditioning, compressors, high-end power tools, and 3-phase inverters for motor drives. The Intelligent Power Module (IPM) consists of short-circuit rugged IGBTs with various features, including undervoltage lockout (UVLO), smart shutdown, temperature sensing, NTC, and overcurrent protection.
