Infineon Technologies 3-Phase Motor Drive Evaluation Board

Infineon Technologies 3-Phase Motor Drive Evaluation Board (EVAL_DRIVE_3PH_PFD7) is a complete reference design for an inverter power stage with a half-bridge gate-driver IC, based on CoolMOS™ PFD7 SJ MOSFET. The Power Stage offers 600V blocking voltage, up to 100W. Combined with the iMOTION™ controller, the user can run a motor within one hour with a smooth start-up using inductive sensing. The Infineon Technologies evaluation board has all sensorless Field Oriented Control (FOC) assembly groups. It provides a single-phase AC connector, rectifier, and three-phase output for connecting the motor. The power stage also contains emitter shunts for current sensing and a voltage divider for DC-link voltage measurement.

The 3-Phase Motor Drive Evaluation Board uses the iMOTION platform, MCEDesigner™, a Windows-based application that allows users to read and write the memory of the iMOTION microcontrollers during runtime. It can be accessed using the KIT_XMC_LINK_SEGGER_V1 Isolated Debug Probe (not included).
