Microchip Technology EVB-KSZ9131RNX Plug-In Evaluation Board

Microchip Technology / Atmel EVB-KSZ9131RNX Plug-In Evaluation Board offers a complete platform to evaluate the KSZ9131RNX features. The KSZ9131RNX is a fully integrated triple-speed (10Base-T/100Base-TX/1000Base-T) Ethernet Physical Layer Transceiver developed for the transmission and reception of data over standard CAT-5 unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cable. The KSZ9131RNX implements on-chip termination resistors for four differential pairs, reducing cost and simplifying the layout.

The Microchip Technology / Atmel EVB-KSZ9131RNX plug-in evaluation board connects to an Ethernet Development System (EDS) host board via a high-speed connector. EDS boards include the SAMA5D3 Ethernet Development System and the EVB-LAN7431-EDS. A board-to-board connector provides power, RGMII, MDC/MDIO, reset and interrupt signals. The EVB-KSZ9131RNX board is not created to be used stand-alone. All KSZ9131RNX configuration pins are accessible by jumpers, test points, or interface connectors.
