Analog Devices Inc. LTC5589 Low Power Direct Quadrature Modulators

Analog Devices Inc. LTC5589 700MHz to 6GHz Low Power Direct Quadrature Modulators are developed for low-power wireless applications. Applying 90° phase-shifted signals to the I and Q inputs will accomplish single-sideband modulation or side-band suppressed upconversion.

The modulators can activate the on-chip thermometer to compensate for gain-temperature variations. Using an on-chip diode more accurate temperature measurements can be made. The Analog Devices Inc. LTC5589 offers a continuous analog gain control (VCTRL) pin for fast power control.
