Diodes Incorporated PI6CBE33xx3 Low-Power PCIe® Clock Buffers

Diodes Incorporated PI6CBE33xx3 Low-Power PCIe® Clock Buffers are PCIe 5.0/6.0 clock buffers with 6-, 8-, and 12-channels of low-power HCSL output with on-chip termination and 33Ω output impedance. These components have very low 12fs additive phase jitter in fanout-buffer mode and support ultra path interconnect (UPI) and quick path connect (QPI) applications. Users can configure the devices into either ZDB or fanout-buffer mode by utilizing hardware or SMBus control. An individual-channel OE pin provides flexible power management. A clock frequency range of 100MHz to 133.33MHz is supported in ZDB mode. Fanout-buffer mode supports a range of 1MHz to 400MHz. The Diodes Incorporated PI6CBE33xx3 is available in a small footprint TQFN package, ranging from 5mm2 to 9mm2.

Features

  • Low 12fs additive phase jitter in Fanout Buffer Mode, minimizes phase noise for increased system timing margins
  • Individual OE pin for each output allows dynamic routing and enhances power-saving
  • Hardware or SMBus Control to select ZDB mode or fanout-buffer mode, enables HW pin or register setting options to select either ZDB or fanout mode
  • Available in 6-, 8-, and 12-output family variants, meets various system clock tree design requirements
  • Available in a small footprint TQFN package, ranging from 5mm2 to 9mm2
  • Lead-free and RoHS-compliant
  • Halogen- and antimony-free, Green device
