Texas Instruments TDP2004EVM Evaluation Module

Texas Instruments TDP2004EVM Evaluation Module evaluates the TDP2004 linear redriver for video applications with Display Port (DP) interfaces. This evaluation module can be used as a hardware reference design for TDP2004 implementations. The TDP2004EVM includes a DEP plus that connects to a DP-capable source and a DP receptacle that connects to a DP-capable sink. This evaluation module can be plugged into any DP-2.1 receptacle to add redriver functionality to the system.

Features

  • Supports DisplayPort 2.1 redriver with data rate up to 20Gbps
  • Transparent to DisplayPort 1.4 and 2.1 link training
  • Internal voltage regulator provides immunity to supply noise
  • High linearity easing DP compliance ratio tests
  • High channel BW resulting in excellent linear EQ curves
  • Standard 5V barrel jack receptacle to provide power to the EVM
  • Ingle 3.3V supply with low active power (160mW/channel)
  • DP plug that connects to a DP-capable source
  • DP receptacle that connects to a DP-capable sink
  • Pin-strap, I2C, or EEPROM programming
