Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) EV5490-C-00A Evaluation Board
Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) EV5490-C-00A Evaluation Board is designed to demonstrate the capabilities of the MP5490. The MP5490, a fully integrated power management solution, integrates four high-accuracy current sources (ID) for distributed feedback (DFB) laser diodes (LDs) and four negative voltage biases for an EML bias. The MP5490 also provides current measurements of 4-channel EML and MPD to simplify the design process.The Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MP5490 integrates 6-channel, high-accuracy, low-temperature coefficient, and external analog-to-digital converter (ADC) inputs. These ADCs can help read the ROSA current and temperature information to conserve microcontroller (MCU) resources. It is recommended that the MP5490 datasheet be read before making any changes to the EV5490-C-00A. A typical application for the MP5490 is optical modules.
