Hammond Manufacturing Eclipse Type 4 Mild Steel Wall-Mount Enclosures are designed to house and shield electrical and/or electronic equipment, ensuring protection in challenging industrial environments. These wall-mount enclosures exhibit impressive styling features, including hidden hinges and attractive latching systems. This makes them a suitable addition to any high-tech equipment installation. The Eclipse Type 4 wall-mount enclosures come in a diverse array of sizes, and the inclusion of practical accessories enhances the completeness of this product line. The cover and enclosure, finished with a re-coatable powder inside and out, offer a choice of ANSI 61 smooth Gray (GY) or RAL7035 textured-light gray (LG).

Features

Construction:
- Formed 14- (24" x 24" and larger) or 16-gauge (24" x 20" and smaller) steel
- Smooth, continuously welded seams ground smooth
- Door stiffeners are provided where required for increased strength and rigidity - also designed to permit additional mounting options
- Formed lip on enclosure to exclude flowing liquids and contaminants
- Door latching:
  - Type A has slotted quarter-turns
  - Type B has a handle with 3-point latching
  - Type C has a handle with 3-point latching plus additional quarter turns top and bottom
- Door latches feature the added safety of a quarter-turn slot requiring the use of a tool for opening
- Doors may be easily removed for modifications and are interchangeable
- Seamless poured-in-place gasket
- Collar studs are provided for mounting the inner panel
- Includes hardware kit with panel mounting nuts and sealing washers for wall-mounting holes
- Bonding stud is provided on the door and a grounding stud is installed in the enclosure
- Hinges are constructed from 304 stainless steel
- Hinge pins are stainless steel
- Quarter-turn latches are zinc diecast with a black epoxy finish
- Door alignment guide provided on 36" wide enclosures
- Door swing can be reversed - requires ordering adapter kit EHLLSAK
