Hirose Electric DF3 SignalBee™ 2mm Pitch Connectors

Hirose Electric DF3 Series SignalBee™ 2mm Pitch Connectors are designed for discrete wire connection. These connectors come with a receptacle that enables horizontal or vertical connection of the board. The DF3 connectors also feature a pin header and an in-line plug for ID socket and crimping types. The ID socket comes with a height of 6.8mm and a crimp socket with a height of 7.5mm. Hirose Electric DF3 Series SignalBee 2mm Pitch Connectors are approved by UL CSA standards.

Features

Receptacle
- Board can be connected horizontally or vertically in combination with straight header with right-angle header
- For horizontal connection, board-to-board size is low profile of 6.6mm
In-line plug
- Crimping in-line plug consists of two types
  - One type is pursued after space merits
  - Second type employs panel lock type that can be fixed to panel
- In-line adapter available to insert and to make ID socket in-line from both sides

Pin header
- Pre-fixed kink of board is treated with post pin
- Employs scoop-proof and stubborn box type
- Type corresponding to SMT available that uses heat-proof resin
Crimp socket
- Low profile design with 7.5mm mounting height
- Provides contact crimping area with sufficient space and secures stable crimping operation
