Infineon Technologies EZ-PD™ CCG7SCF USB Type-C® Power Delivery (PD)

Infineon Technologies EZ-PD™ CCG7SCF USB Type-C® Power Delivery (PD) is highly integrated with a buck-boost controller and two switching FETs designed for charging and dock applications. The EZ-PD CCG7SCF complies with USB Type-C and PD specifications.

The integration of the Infineon EZ-PD CCG7SCF provides an optimized footprint. Furthermore, the devices include hardware-controlled protection features on the VBUS and support a wide input voltage range of 4V to 24V with a 40V tolerance and a programmable switching frequency of 150kHz to 600kHz. The programmable EZ-PD CCG7SCF delivers an on-chip 32-bit Arm® Cortex®-M0 processor, 128KB flash, 16KB RAM, and 32KB ROM, leaving most flash available for user application use.

The PD features analog and digital peripherals such as NFET VBUS Gate Drivers, ADC, PWM, timers, GPIOs, and two buck switching FETs. Including a fully programmable MCU with analog and digital peripherals enables the implementation of custom system management functions such as power throttling, load sharing, temperature monitoring, and fault logging.
