KUNBUS RevPi Gateways

KUNBUS RevPi Gateways integrate Revolution Pi systems into a fieldbus or industrial Ethernet network. These gateways are connected to the base module RevPi Core via the overhead PiBridge connector, allowing up to two gateway modules to be used per system. The cyclic data exchange between the gateway and the central process image of the RevPi Core 3 happens every 5ms, regardless of the bus protocol and system configuration. Due to the required processing power, the exclusive use of gateways in conjunction with the Quad-Core-equipped RevPi Core 3 is recommended. KUNBUS RevPi Gateways are offered for the PROFINET IRT, Ethernet/IP, EtherCAT, or PROFIBUS protocols.
