Lattice Semiconductor MachXO5-NX Development Board

Lattice Semiconductor MachXO5-NX Development Board features the MachXO5-NX-25 in a 400-ball caBGA package. This device offers various features and programmability that enhance Secure Control PLD functionality with multiple boot capabilities. The cryptographic engine supports user-mode security features and includes numerous system functions, such as two PLLs, 432kbits of embedded RAM, and hardened implementations of I2C and SPI. A flexible, high-performance I/O supports numerous single-ended and differential standards, including LVDS and MIPI.

The Lattice Semiconductor MachXO5-NX Development Board also includes features to expand the usability of the MachXO5-NX-25 with Raspberry, Arduino, Versa, FX12, and Aardvark headers. It also allows the programming of external flash memory and provides access to flash memory via a soft SPI. The configuration ports and breakout for GPIO enable the user to test all configuration modes (JTAG, I2C/I3C, SPI) and I/O capabilities. The consistent board control experience provides an interface to the ASC bridge board (L-ASC-BRIDGE-EVN) like XO3 and XO3D development boards. This board maximizes the wide range of I/O by providing flexibility in configuring wide-range I/O voltages. The device enables multiple external ports simultaneously and supports up to five channels per FTDI connection.
