Melexis MLX90424 Triaxis® Position Sensor IC

Melexis MLX90424 Triaxis® Position Sensor IC is designed for linear movement applications and integrates a wake-up switch function. This magnetic position sensor IC features three isolated dies: two MLX90423 Triaxis position sensors and one MLX92292 switch. The switch optimizes energy consumption by allowing the system to be in a low-power state until a magnetic field is detected. The MLX90424 module accurately detects the three components of magnetic flux density (Bx, By, and Bz), enabling precise measurement of linear displacement. This makes the IC ideal for applications where non-contact position sensing is essential. Melexis MLX90424 Triaxis Position Sensor IC offers flexible output options, including pulse width modulation (PWM) and SENT frames encoded in a secure sensor format for system compatibility and simplified integration. The module features a TSSOP-16 (GO) triple-die package that is AEC-Q100 qualified and RoHS compliant.
