Mikroe Hydro Probe Click

Mikroe Hydro Probe Click is a capacitive soil moisture sensor that detects volumetric water content in the soil. Water detection is achieved by using the Microchip MIC1557 function oscillator. The MCP3221 ADC converter is used to detect water. This detection allows converting moisture presence to a digital value. The capacitive style, when compared to resistant soil moisture sensors, reduces electrode erosion. The Mikroe Hydro Probe Click is corrosion-resistant and ideal for soil moisture detection and automatic plant watering applications.
