Mikroe Microwave click

Mikroe Microwave click is a sensor development board based on the PD-V11 24.1GHz Microwave Motion Sensor. The Mikroe Microwave demonstrates the use of the PD-V11 as a proximity or motion detector in various applications and devices. The Microwave click uses the doppler effect to detect movement or proximity. The onboard Microwave Motion Sensor transmits waves, and detects the waves as they hit an object, with their frequency changed. The Microwave click doesn't need optical visibility to work, and the waves can penetrate many kinds of barriers and obstacles.

Features

  • Detects movement of objects
  • Functions as a proximity detector
  • Carries a microwave motion sensor
