Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MP2183 3A Synchronous Step-Down Converter features built-in internal power MOSFETs. The converter achieves 3A continuous output current from a 2.5V to 5.5V input voltage. The MP2183 device provides excellent load and line regulation, while the output voltage can be regulated to as low as 0.6V. Constant on-time control delivers a fast transient response and eases loop stabilization. Fault protections include cycle-by-cycle current limiting and thermal shutdown. MPS MP2183 3A Synchronous Step-Down Converter is suitable for applications that include wireless and networking cards, portable instruments, battery-powered devices, low-voltage I/O system power, and multi-function printers.
