Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MP7752 Class D Audio Amplifier

Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MP7752 Class D Audio Amplifier is an analog input inductor-less amplifier designed to drive stereo speakers in a bridge-tied load configuration. The MP7752 integrates 240mΩ power MOSFETs, startup/shutdown pop elimination, short-circuit protection circuits, and advanced EMI performance. It uses a stereo BTL structure capable of delivering 15W per channel into 8Ω speakers at 16V power supply. The MP7752 includes an internal circuit, which allows the system to automatically shut down after the absence of the audio signal. This is used for energy-using products and for battery-operated applications. MPS MP7752 Class D Audio Amplifier features an adjustable power limit function, which sets a limit on the output peak-to-peak voltage. This is done by limiting the duty cycle to the fixed maximum value and can be thought of as a virtual voltage rail that is lower than the input voltage.
