NXP Semiconductors i.MX RT600 Crossover MCUs

NXP Semiconductors i.MX RT600 Crossover MCUs are dual-core microcontrollers with 32-bit Cortex®-M33 and Xtensa HiFi4 audio DSP CPUs. These MCUs are part of NXP's EdgeVerse™ edge computing platform. The Cortex-M33 CPU comes with two hardware coprocessors that provide enhanced performance for an array of complex algorithms. The MCUs feature up to 4.5MB SRAM, FlexSPI with cache, and dynamic decryption. The series also employs high-speed USB device/host + PHY, 12-bit 1M samples/ADC, analog comparator, and PUF key generation. NXP i.MX RT600 Crossover MCUs allow the Cortex-M33 CPU to operate at frequencies up to 300MHz and the HiFi4 DSP to operate at frequencies up to 600MHz. In addition to the digital microphone interface with up to 8 channels and numerous I2S interfaces, the i.MX RT600 also boasts the HiFi4 DSP co-processor, bringing high-performance processing to audio and voice applications.

The i.MX RT600 is also supported by NXP eIQ Machine Learning Software via the MCUXpresso SDK. This provides a comprehensive machine-learning development environment.
