NXP Semiconductors i.MX RT1020 Crossover MCUs
NXP Semiconductors i.MX RT1020 Crossover Microcontrollers (MCUs), powered by the Arm® Cortex®-M7 Core at 500MHz, provide a high-performance feature set in a low-cost LQFP package. The i.MX RT1020 MCUs are part of NXP’s EdgeVerse™ edge computing platform. The i.MX RT1020 delivers performance levels and security capabilities that are typical of application processors, combined with the ease of use, real-time operation, and low-power capabilities of MCUs. NXP i.MX RT1020 processors have 256KB on-chip RAM, which can be flexibly configured as TCM or general-purpose on-chip RAM. The i.MX RT1020 integrates an advanced power management module with DC-DC and LDO, reducing external power supply complexity and simplifying power sequencing. The i.MX RT1020 also provides various memory interfaces, including SDRAM, RAW NAND FLASH, NOR FLASH, SD/eMMC, Quad SPI, and a wide range of connectivity interfaces, including UART, SPI, I2C, USB, and CAN; for connecting peripherals including WLAN, BLUETOOTH®, and GPS. The i.MX RT1020 also has rich audio features, including SPDIF and I2S audio interface.
