NXP Semiconductors i.MX 7 Applications Processors
NXP Semiconductors i.MX 7 Applications Processors are highly integrated multi-market applications processors for enabling secure and portable Internet of Things applications. The i.MX 7 processors are part of NXP’s EdgeVerse™ edge computing platform. i.MX 7 utilizes the Arm® Cortex®-A7 and Cortex-M4 cores for general-purpose programmable processing. A dual-core architecture enables them to run sophisticated operating systems and provide real-time responsiveness. The i.MX 7 components incorporate four independently controlled resource domains allowing maximum effectiveness and security when partitioning system resources like memory and peripherals.
