NXP Semiconductors NX20P0477 USB Type-C™ Smart Protection IC is a single-chip overvoltage protection solution that integrates a corrosion prevention algorithm from moisture. This IC incorporates CC1 and CC2 pins on the system side that are protected from the 28V short pins located next to the VBUS pins. The NXP NX20P0477 IC converts the USB-standard Rp currents of 80µA, 180µA, or 330µA from the CC/PD controller to a low-current source that prevents corrosion. Typical applications include smartphones, tablets, and portable devices.Features
