NXP Semiconductors PCA9450x Power Management ICs

NXP Semiconductors PCA9450x Power Management ICs (PMICs) are designed to support i.MX 8M family processors in single-cell Li-Ion and Li-polymer battery portable applications and 5V adapter non-portable applications. These PMICs are available in three variants: i.MX 8M mini (PCA9450AA), i.MX 8M nano (PCA9450B), and i.MX 8M plus (PCA9450C). All three support DDR4, LPDDR4, and DDR3L memory types via system UBOOT configuration. These PMICs integrate the logic translator with auto-direction sensing. The logic translator is a 2-bit and dual supply translating transceiver. Other features include six buck regulators, five linear regulators, and one load switch to supply voltage rails powering the application processor and peripheral devices. NXP PCA9450x PMICs come in a 56-pin HVQFN, 7mm x 7mm package with 0.4mm pitch. Applications include IoT devices, tablets, electronic point of sale (ePOS), smart cities, smart homes, and industrial.
