NXP Semiconductors S32E2 Real-time Processors

NXP Semiconductors S32E2 Real-time Processors combine real-time and DSP/ML processing with hardware virtualization and scalable non-volatile memory. These 16nm processors with actuation support enable software-defined vehicles, minimize software integration complexity, and improve security. The S32E2 high-performance processors are developed according to processes that are certified to ISO.SAE 21434 for cybersecurity and ISO 26262 for ASIL D functional safety. These processors are enabled with GreenVIP vehicle integration platform software and the GreenBox 3 development platform.

The S32E2 processors support AUTOSAR®, Zephyr®, and FreeRTOS™ real-time operating systems. These processors integrate eight Arm® Cortex®-R52 cores that run at up to 1GHz with flexible split/lock configurations. The S32E2 processors feature integrated Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) gigabit Ethernet switch (NETC3), 19MB SRAM, and up to 64MB integrated flash memory. These processors support electric vehicle (xEV) control and are used in Battery Management Systems (BMS), Brushless DC (BLDC) motor control, and automotive zone controllers applications.
