NXP Semiconductors S32K396BMS-EVB Evaluation Board
NXP Semiconductors S32K396BMS-EVB Evaluation Board is used to demonstrate an integrated Electronic Control Unit (ECU) solution. The NXP Semiconductors S32K396BMS-EVB monitors battery voltage, temperature, and fault status, while the Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) samples simulate pedal position, gear, and other sensors. Software development is based on NXP's Real-Time Drivers (RTD). This proof of concept allows evaluation of the S32K37 electrification MCU and facilitates hardware and software development for BMS and VCU.Features
- Combines BMS and VCU functionalities in one ECU
- MC33665 as communication gateway and TPL transceiver to support daisy chain of BCC device MC33774 communication
- Supports multiple input/output interfaces: MSDI, ADC, GPIO, LSD, and HSD
- S32K396 microcontroller (289 MAPBGA soldered): a hardware and software compatible superset MCU of S32K376
- 4x CH high-side and 11x low-side switch
