onsemi NCP5106 & NCP5109 High Voltage Side Drivers

onsemi NCP5106 and NCP5109 High Voltage Side Drivers provide two outputs for direct drive of two N-channel power MOSFETs or Insulated-Gate Bipolar Transistors (IGBTs) arranged in a half-bridge configuration. These high voltage, high, and low side drivers feature a dV/dt immunity of 50 volts per nanosecond (V/ns) and are 3.3V and 5V input logic compatible. These devices use the bootstrap technique to ensure a proper drive of the High Side power switch and provide a rugged design.

The onsemi NCP5106 Side Driver offers a voltage range of up to 600V. The NCP5109 Side Driver provides a voltage range of up to 200V. Both devices are offered in two versions. The A version of each features independent logic inputs to accommodate all topologies. The B version features cross-conduction protection with 100nx internal fixed dead time. Offered in SOIC−8, PDIP−8, and DFN10 packages, the NCP5106 and NCP5109 High Voltage Side Drivers are Pb-free and pin-to-pin compatible with industry-standard devices.
